OVERVIEW

From launching highly anticipated seasons to liaising opening nights and spreading awareness of exciting initiatives and theatre announcements, IVY PR worked with the state theatre company for three years (2022-24).

One of the key objectives was to enhance visibility on both a national and local scale, driving ticket sales and participation within their evergreen initiatives – and as a result broaden public engagement with the brand.

SOLUTION

Much like a theatre season, a roadmap for each year was carefully curated with the brand’s pillars in mind – main stage productions, announcements, programs/initiatives and awards – to highlight maximum exposure opportunities.

Throughout the year, Queensland Theatre leadership members, such as Associate Artistic Directors, were leveraged alongside homegrown creatives, writers and performers to bring their own unique voices to campaigns or provide comment on topical issues in the arts space.

Of the estimated 71.2 million PR reach, over 40 million was across the final year of engagement with national highlights including Guardian Australia and Today Extra, showcasing the brand’s expanding reputation in the landscape.
